CrossFit Teens is a strength and conditioning programme specifically designed for teenagers aged 13-15 years to establish and build a strong foundation in gymnastics, strength, cardiovascular conditioning as well as body awareness, confidence and mental capacity. This program focuses on speed, agility, power, strength and endurance, but is designed especially for youth.
The course is programmed and coached in a way that teenagers of all levels can participate and all will get the benefits of the program, working to establish and increase skill and fitness no matter the starting point.
If your child is not an athlete this program will help them become more active and take a more positive attitude towards exercise and lead them away from a inactive lifestyle. Confidence and self-belief is hugely important to install at an early age especially with the modern day pressure in the media about how a young person should look or act.
They will learn how fitness can help improve cognitive function, protect them against injury by teaching proper body mechanics, and create a community of like-minded, confident individuals that can turn to one another for support.
CrossFit Teens not only teaches one how to work out, it teaches youngsters the importance of teamwork, hard work and community, perseverance, dedication, and motivation.
